I would advise using bubble wrap to add layer of protection and use ribbon to keep the bike secure within the box (I use ribbon from presents or shopping bags). N.B. I NO LONGER HAVE THE STRAPS MENTIONED IN THE YOUTUBE VIDEO. There are three layers of foam which is quite fragile so you need to ensure your bike does not tear this. I don't take my handlebars off as in the YouTube video, I can show you what I do though (I find it easier). I pack some of my clothing into my box too and use it as additional padding for the bike.

It's condition is 'Scuffed' and it is a hard case that was purchased around 2012
